DIRECTIONS
Location: 1020 Cole Ave, 4th Floor, Hollywood, CA 90038. One block West
of Cahuenga Blvd and one-half block South of Santa Monica Blvd. Located on the fourth
floor of the Television Center building. Cole Ave runs between Fountain Ave. and Melrose
Ave.
From US 101 (Hollywood Freeway): Exit Highland Ave (South). Take Highland
Ave to Santa Monica Blvd and turn left. Turn right at Cole Ave.
From Highway 10 (Santa Monica Freeway):
Exit La Cienega or La Brea Ave and continue North towards the hills. Turn right at Santa
Monica Blvd. Turn right at Cole.
PARKING INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
The parking lot for EDGE and The Television
Center, is off of Cole Ave between Romaine and Willoughby. The entrance to
the parking lot is in the middle of the block. Display
your blue EDGE parking pass on your rear view mirror or have it visible for
the guard at the parking entrance. EDGE parking are the blue spaces forward
and to the right. RV's and trailers are not allowed. No overnight
parking.
Unidentified
and illegally parked cars are subject to a ticket and towing at the owners
expense.
It is always a good idea to not leave personal items visible and inside the
passenger compartment of your car when parked.
EDGE and The
Television Center are not liable for the loss of, or damage to, personal
items.
FIRST-TIME STUDENTS &
VISITORS
Cars must have a parking pass to use the shared parking lot, however first-time
students are able to park without a pass. The guard will stop you when
entering the parking lot if you are not displaying a parking pass. Tell the
guard that it's your first time to EDGE. They can direct you to our parking,
which is located forward from the guard station to the right.
PARKING AFTER BUSINESS HOURS AND ON THE WEEKENDS
Park in either the blue EDGE spaces, or the white unassigned business spaces
located to the left of the parking entrance. Do not park in spaces
that display a name or Gold's
parking. Be sure to display your EDGE parking pass.

This 4107 acres in the eastern Santa Monica Mountains features various attractions. Along
with expansive areas for picnics and the odd soccer game, this park hosts the Observatory,
where on a clear night you can observe the stars through their giant telescope. There is
also a small statue commemorating the scene shot here for "Rebel without A
Cause". The Gene Autry museum, where you are sure to leave walking with a little more
"swagger" in your step, and also visit the LA Zoo.

Walk of Fame / El Capitan Theater/ Kodak Theatre
Visit the landmark Hollywood Blvd. and the infamous Mann Chinese Theatre that contains
the hand and footprints of past and present celebrities since the 1920's. The new Kodak
theatre is the home of the Oscar presentations has live acts throughout the year. The
Hollywood Walk of Fame runs down Hollywood Boulevard from La Brea Ave to Vine Street and
has stars honoring immortals of film, TV, radio, theatre, and music. On Hollywood, you
will find many newly renovated movie theatre including Disney's, El Capitan Theater, the
Egyptian, Vogue and Cinerama Dome movie theatres, the spectacular Pantages Theatre, and
many restaurants, shops and night spots for adults and teens.
Hollywood Bowl
Home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and performances by
many jazz and pop artists. This outdoor amphitheater is carved in the side of a mountain
and features a small museum and picnic area. Ticket prices range depending on the event,
but it holds many and does not have a bad seat in the house. Great for packing a little
dinner and enjoying your self out under the stars.

Hollywood Wax Museum / Ripley's Believe It or Not /
Guinness Book of Records Museum
Wax figures of both past and present legendary screen personalities comprise this
exceptional museum. Located across the street are both the Ripley's and Guinness museums,
housing their own specialties of oddities and the unexplainable.
Knotts Berry Farm
Amusement Park. Fun for all.
Located in Orange County.
La Brea Tar Pits
This is a museum with skeletal remains and fossils of prehistoric creatures and animals.
The museum has exhibits of various stages of evolution. These are the actual tar pits that
these animals fell into and were subsequently preserved in.
LA Children's Museum
A great museum for children that offers a "hands on" environment. The museum
contains interactive displays where children learn by doing. Located downtown, near the
beautiful and historic Union Station.
LA County Museum
This museum is located next to the La Brea Tar Pits. This museum houses an extensive
collection on the arts and crafts movement, as well as many Renaissance and Impressionist
paintings and Southwestern art. It also contains various rotating exhibits.
Magic Mountain
If you like roller coasters than this is the
park for you. In Valencia, which is approximately 45 minutes North of Los Angeles.
Mann's Chinese Theatre / Hollywood Walk of Fame /
El Capitan Theater
Visit the landmark Hollywood Theater that contains the hand and footprints of past and
present celebrities since the 1920's. The theater is an actual working theater and
presents newly released movies in its beautiful surroundings. The new theater to house the
Oscar presentations is being built right next door. The Hollywood Walk of Fame runs down
Hollywood Boulevard and to Vine Street and has stars honoring immortals of film, TV,
radio, theatre, and music. On Hollywood you will also find the El Capitan Theater. This
theater is owned by Disney, and shows their films sometimes with an accompanying pre movie
stage show.
Melrose Avenue
Visit "trendy" Melrose Avenue. This shopping district is stretched mainly
between Fairfax and La Brea, houses many restaurants and shops that specialize in trendy
and exotic clothing. Further west (past Fairfax) you will find many up scale shops as well
as assorted furniture and antique stores.
Mullholland Drive
This attraction is recommended at dusk. Ride along the crest of the Santa Monica Mountains
and enjoy the panoramic view of the Los Angeles basin on one side and the San Fernando
Valley on the other. You will be riding through the "glamorous" Hollywood Hills.

Paramount Studios and the Hollywood Sign
The Paramount Studios are located at the intersection of Melrose and Gower (east of EDGE
PAC) in Hollywood. Tours are available daily, no reservations are required. Many of
today's current television shows are filmed here. This is also an excellent location to
view the Hollywood sign (which you can also see right through the windows of studios E and
G at the EDGE).
Queen Mary / Aquarium of the Pacific
Located in Long Beach.
Rodeo Drive / Beverly Hills
Visit the famous and expensive shops along Rodeo Drive, home of Gucci, Valentino,
Tiffany's and other upscale stores and restaurants. Drive through elegant Beverly Hills
and Bel Air where the mansions fetch millions of dollars each. This is home to many famous
past and present celebrities.
Santa Monica Pier and Beach / Third Street
Promenade
Visit the town of Santa Monica, a great area for walking. The Santa Monica Pier has an old
fashioned carousel that is solar powered, fair type games, restaurants and a spot for pier
fishing. Stretching for miles along the beach is the longest bike and rollerblade path in
all of California. Rental available at beach. Just a short block away is the Third Street
Promenade, where you will find a lot of people traveling from restaurant to bookstore to
retail shop. Great at night, when various performance artists come out to entertain the
crowds.
Sunset Strip
Restaurants, clubs, live music clubs, Movie Theatres and more including the House of Blues
and the Comedy Store. On Sunset Blvd between Doheny Dr and Crescent Heights Blvd.
Sunset Center

Venice Beach Boardwalk
For a taste of the weird and obscure, head down to the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Here you

swallower, the human tattoo, the man on rollerblades who plays his electric guitar, and a
grandma who performs a song and dance in a bikini, and so on... It is also home to the
