Jazz Funk

Candace Brown is a dancer and instructor with a huge passion and love for what she does. She has had the opportunity to train under some of the industry's best choreographers and continues to grow everyday. In 2009 she was a cast member of Monsters of Hip Hop Show under the direction of Tony Testa and Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo. She has danced in various Carnivals and shows for choreographers like Rhapsody James, Matt Cady, Stephen "Twitch" Boss, and Chonique Sneed. Candace is currently a principle dancer on UNITY LA, directed by the incomparable Tessandra Chavez. In addition to performing, Candace teaches at EDGE and other L.A. studios, and has also been a guest instructor at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and the Monsters of Hip Hop Convention. She has been able to share her knowledge and gifts internationally as well, teaching in places like Greece, Indonesia, Russia, London, Spain, Belgium, Brazil, Singapore, Hong Kong and more. Candace feels very fortunate to be able to make a living doing what she loves to do, and gives all honor and glory to God for the talent He has blessed her with. She strives everyday to inspire and be inspired by others.
