Randy Allaire and Bill Prudich, Owners

2020 and the pandemic has brought unprecedented challenge for everyone. Due to the pandemic and Los Angeles Country restrictions, EDGE has not been able to hold in-studio classes since March 15, 2020. At that time, we froze all active in-person class cards. When we are able to hold in-person classes, the frozen class cards will reactivate with the same remaining time before expiration. These cards may also be transferred to another purchase.

After the March closure, we began free and donation-based Instagram Live classes followed by our new studio format of In-Studio, Virtual and Hybrid classes. For a short period from June-July 2020 we were able to offer all three, but by August, Los Angeles was back to full restrictions. Virtual classes continued.

In August of 2020, Television Center, the property where EDGE had been located for 28 years was sold. With the pandemic and economic downturn, despite assurances to the contrary, the new owners decided to go in a different direction. We closed our Hollywood location mid-September 2020.

February 2021, we have made arrangements with our friends at Liv'art Dance Studio in North Hollywood to temporarily give classes from there while we work on a new studio.

Coming soon, Virtual classes and our new Video On Demand access to our full video library.

At this time, it's still unclear when Los Angeles county dance studios will be able to return to in-studio classes. When able, we'll be offering studio classes from Liv'art as well.

For our academy, look for the Academy at EDGE 2021-2022 School Year Catalog available soon. Due to the pandemic the 2020-2021 school year was not held.

We're on track to open our new studio in North Hollywood 2022.

Are you offering any classes now, virtual or in-person?

All of our classes will be included on our online schedule. Students will continue to use the online schedule to sign-up for classes, as well as their My Account or the Mindbody app to make purchases and sign-up for classes.

I don't see classes on the schedule, are you offering classes?

If classes, in-person, virtual or otherwise are not listed on our online schedule they are not being held. All classes will be included on our online schedule.

I still have classes on my card, can I get a refund?

We froze all active in-person class cards on March 15, 2020. When were are able to hold in-person classes, we will active the frozen cards with the same amount of expiration time remaining as when they were frozen. Thank you for your understanding. The effects of the pandemic have been significant and we have no control over not being able to offer in-person classes that certainly is not our choice.

Can I transfer my in-person classes to virtual classes or other services?

It may be possible to transfer remaining amounts to other services. This would have to be completed by an EDGE Team Member. To inquire, email

What's the address of the temporary studio?

Liv'art Dance Studio
11044 Weddington Street
