HOW TO
REQUEST A RENTAL |

Please call for information and to request a quote. |
2.
|
Before a
booking is placed on our calendar, an EDGE manager will review the request
and confirm all times and any other specific item with the applicant before
the booking is
accepted. Once accepted, applicant will place a credit card on file which will be
charged for the total amount upon commencement of the booking. |

HOW TO
REQUEST A CANCELLATION OR REFUND |
1. |
EDGE has a 48-hour cancellation notice
policy (prior to commencement of license period to avoid being
charged or to receive a refund. |
2. |
Licensee, or authorized
representative, must speak directly with a manager to request a
cancellation. Cancellations are not accepted by any other method,
including but not limited to voice mail, text message or email.
Cancellations made in less than 48 hours prior to commencement of
the license period may be charged a 50% cancellation fee. |

LICENSE
FEES |
1. |
License fees are for standard
temporary use (license) of specified facilities for specified use.
See individual room listing for details. Additional fees apply for:
Before and After Hours, Auditions, Commercial Photography,
Commercial Filming, Furniture and Parking. Please call to request a
quote. |
2. |
Upon confirmation, Licensee will place
a credit card on file to hold the specified portion of the EDGE
premises. The credit card will be charged the entire license fee
amount upon commencement of the license period, unless another
payment method has been agreed. |
3. |
Late payment penalty of 5% of the
total license fee will be assessed per month for past due accounts. |
4. |
EDGE has a 48-hour cancellation notice
policy (prior to commencement of license period) to avoid being
charged or to receive a refund. Licensee, or authorized
representative, must speak directly with a manager to request a
cancellation. Cancellations are not accepted by any other method,
and must be confirmed by EDGE in writing. Cancellations cannot be
confirmed by Licensee by voice mail, text message or email.
Cancellations made in less than 48 hours prior to commencement of
the license period may be charged a 50% of the total license fee as
a cancellation fee in order to compensate EDGE for the
unavailability for licensing the facilities to other potential
customers. |
5. |
Hours for use under the License are
calculated upon and include load-in and the completion of load-out.
Licensee agrees to pay 150% of the hourly license rate for each hour
or portion thereof for overtime. |
6. |
Licensee is responsible to pay the
entire License Agreement regardless of whether the full time was
used. |
7. |
No credit is issued for unused time
reserved and paid for under the License Agreement. |
8. |
No credit is issued for lost time due
to Licensee-related issues or problems beyond the control of EDGE. |
9 |
Depending on the space which is the
subject to this License Agreement, a small amount of furniture may
be included (when available, and when confirmed with EDGE in
advance). |
10. |
EDGE and the building have a limited
amount of parking. A small amount of parking is included. Licensees
requesting additional parking must do so in advance to secure
parking, but such additional parking is not guaranteed. A per car
fee shall be charged for all persons using the licensed premises.
Additional parking may not be available depending on other
activities within the building. |

POLICIES |
1. |
Facilities are licensed for
rehearsals, auditions, meetings, photo shoots and filming, only as
specified within this Agreement. We do not license facilities for
instruction of any kind, performances, parties or dances. The only
purpose(s) for which the Licensee is authorized to use the premises,
is that specifically specified hereinabove. Any use other than that
specified herein will be deemed improper use and will terminate the
license. As EDGE will have lost the ability to make use of the
licensed facilities, Licensee will forfeit all amounts paid and due
pursuant to the License Agreement, unless EDGE can otherwise license
the reserved facilities for the time and date specified in this
Agreement. |
2. |
The License granted herein does not imply or constitute a license to
use or display the names, logos, or trademarks of "EDGE Performing
Arts Studio," "EDGE," or "L.A. DanceForce" (the "Proprietary Names")
in any manner. Neither the Proprietary Names, nor any recognizable
representation of the EDGE studio facilities shall be depicted in
any film or electronic recording made by Licensee without the
express written consent of EDGE. |
3. |
The License granted herein does not

trademarks of "EDGE Performing Arts Studio," "EDGE," or "L.A.
Danceforce" (the "Proprietary Names") in any manner. Neither the
Proprietary Names, nor any recognizable representation of the EDGE

recording made by Licensee without the express written consent of
EDGE. |
4. |
Licensee may not share or transfer
their facility time with any other person or company. |
5. |
Photography and video recording for
commercial use is prohibited without a photography or filming
agreement.

6. |
Licensee must return the studio in the
condition they received it. If Licensee claims that any damage
existed at time of rental, the same must be brought to the attention
of EDGE at the commencement of the License period. |
7. |
Load-in, load-out and room cleaning
must be completed within the License period. |
8. |
Use under the License is permitted for
non-hazardous activities. The use of open flame, such as fire baton,
knives or other similar equipment is prohibited. |
9 |
The use of hazardous or toxic
chemicals is prohibited as well as anything that may produce a
strong odor or transfer to any surface in the studio. Theatrical
smoke is restricted and requires the written approval, in advance,
of an EDGE manager. |
10. |
Licensee may not mark, apply tape or
other material to the floors. Should Licensee need to tape-off a
stage area, they must receive written approval in advance from an
EDGE manager who will specify the authorized materials that can be
used. Licensee is required to remove the tape and any residue as
specified by an EDGE manager. |
11. |
Licensee is financially responsible
for the condition, including any damage to the studio, equipment
caused by Licensee, as well as all persons attending or
participating in the activity. |
12. |
Licensee is advised that Licensee and
persons attending and/or participating in the use are not to touch,
lean against, or apply any item to the mirrors. |
13. |
Licensee is advised that Licensee and
persons attending and/or participating in the use are neither sit
upon, yank, nor place heavy items on the barres. |
14. |
The use of ANY liquid or dry compound, including water and rosin, on
the floors is prohibited. |
15. |
No studio equipment can be moved or removed under any circumstance. |
16. |
The studios are not soundproof.
Recording of audio may be limited. Renters music volume or other
activities shall not interfere with other studios, classes, the
common areas or the normal business operations of EDGE. |
17. |
Commercial Photography and Filming: A
small amount of photography and filming equipment is allowed.
Equipment storage is not available. EDGE manager must approve all
equipment, in writing, prior to its delivery to and use within the
studio. |
18. |
Auditions: Licensee must secure enough
space, including a holding room(s), to accommodate those
auditioning. Hallways, entrances and common areas may not be
congested or blocked by attendees, nor may the audition interfere
with any operation of EDGE. Licensee is required to have sufficient
staff to manage the audition and crowd-control. Absent compliance
with this provision, EDGE may, at its discretion, terminate the
License as an overburdening of the licensed portion of facilities
under the Agreement.

19. |
Licensee must bring their own
supplies. The rental of tables and chairs from EDGE must be arranged
in advance. |
20 |
Food and beverages are not permitted
inside the studios at any time. Water in a closed-container is
permitted. No water is permitted on the studio floors. All spills
must be cleaned-up immediately. |
21. |
Smoking (of any kind) is not permitted
inside the facility. Smoking outside is prohibited within 25 feet
from any entrance and exit, outdoor air intakes and operable
windows. Section 5148 of the California Code of Regulations.

22. |
The consumption of alcohol on premises
is prohibited. |
23. |
The manufacture, sale or use of any
kind of illegal drug within the facility or grounds is prohibited.
Violations may result in the immediate eviction, and/or loss of
future use of EDGE facilities. |
24. |
EDGE may postpone, reschedule or
cancel the License for, but not limited to, emergency maintenance,
matters outside the control of EDGE, or force majeure. |
25. |
EDGE reserves the right to refuse
service as provided by law. |

|
INSURANCE & WAIVER RELEASE |
1. |
Licensee is responsible to provide
valid proof of insurance evidencing coverage pertaining to all use
and activities engaged in for the license period. EDGE does not
provide any form of rental or other Comprehensive General Liability
insurance. Depending on the type of use, EDGE may require Licensee
to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming EDGE Performing Arts
Center and L.A. DanceForce Inc., as an additional insured before
licensed use begins. Prior to the License period commencement,
Licensee shall provide EDGE with a certificate of insurance naming
EDGE as an additional insured, evidencing coverage for the required
insurance limits. |
2. |
All License Agreements must include a
signed Release and Hold Harmless Agreement which covers the Licensee
as well as Licensee's attendees.
Release and Hold Harmless Agreement
Licensee shall be fully responsible to
pay for any and all damages to property owned by EDGE and L.A.
DanceForce Inc., its employees and agents, which results from any
act or omission of Licensee, Licensee agrees to indemnify, defend,
save and hold EDGE Performing Arts Center and L.A. DanceForce Inc.,
including and all principals, agents and employees thereof
(hereinafter collectively called Indemnities) forever harmless for
any claims, lawsuits, , liabilities, damages, and/or expenses
(including attorneys' fees incurred by EDGE), arising from or out of
or by reason of any accident or bodily injury or other occurrences
to any personal property, real property, person or persons, (to
include the Licensee and anyone on the premises in order to attend
Licensee's use of the premises), its agents, employees, or business
invitees, which arise from or out of by reason of Licensee's use of
the EDGE facilities or any part thereof.
